Athena and Ken tell the story of Vanessa Guillen, a missing solider from Fort Hood in Texas. The thing with this story is me and Ken just could not come up with a way a United States Solider could just vanish from the armory of Fort Hood while on duty. There are many rumors we touch on as well as talk about the other "missing" solider from Fort Hood named Gregory Wedel Morales. The crazy thing about Gregory is as of the day we recorded this episode he has been missing for nearly a year. The Army had him classified as AWOL then switched it to deserted. ONE DAY after we made this episode there were some crazy developments in his case so I did throw in a lil update for you all! Enjoy!!!

Athena and Ken tell the story of Marc Dutroux, the Belgian Monster. This disgusting monster raped, imprisoned, tortured and killed girls ranging in age from 8 to 19. He had a total of six KNOWN victimes, two of which survived.There were so many "mistakes" in the Dutroux investigation, that it caused widespread unrest in Belgium with the country's criminal justice system, and the ensuing scandal was one of the reasons for the reorganisation of law enforcement agencies in Belgium and widespread allegations of corruption and infiltration of the Belgian justice system by the mafia and Belgian elite. In the ensuing protests, called the White March, 300,000 Belgian citizens protested the mishandling of the case. Which leads Athena and Ken to a discussion about the current BLM protests happening right now in a city near YOU. Shit has got to change guys.

This week, Athena tells you about the vanishing/murder of Luis Osvaldo Diego Garcia. This disappearance is all based on greed and the want of money. We have one guy dead and another on the run, most likely in Thailand. Luis was an immigrant from Mexico looking for a better life and instead he was murdered in cold blood. One day, Luis walks into a meeting with the owner of the noodle factory he works at and is never seen again. The police were on the ball in this case and unfortunately it just was not enough to get justice for Luis's family.

We're baaaaaack! On this episode of VitV Athena and Ken discuss the many unanswered questions that haunt the Bakersfield 3 case. James Kulstad, Micah Holsonbake and Baylee Despot all lived in Bakersfield and had a few friends in low places in common. Who murdered James and Micah and where is Baylee? As we dug into this case, we came across a problem that many Americans are facing, the opiate epidemic. If you are experiencing opioid use disorder and want help detoxing please do your research before going to a doctor. Please be aware that 95% of the street heroin supply is contaminated with Fentanyl, which has a different withdrawal than heroin. Make sure your doctor knows you are withdrawing from both heroin and fentanyl so they can adjust your detox plan accordingly. Lastly, do your research on different methods of detox to see which method you think suits your disorder. If you need a referral to a detox center near you please call the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration @ 1-800-662-4357

In this Kencentric episode, we learn about how the media propagated the belief that satanic ritual abuse was a hoax. They did this by mass reporting two stories that claim to debunk the S.R.A. that started being reported to law enforcement in the 1980's and 90's. The FBI even got in this game by bullying multiple witnesses into recanting their statements. Who are they trying to protect... because it's obviously not the citizens and victims of the abuse. How did the major media outlets of the United States think it was alright to parrot two reports that say this abuse is a myth when not one of the stories interviewed any of victims? Why didn't the media talk about all the convictions that were made against the abusers in these situations? Something stinks in America and Athena and Ken want you to smell it right along with them.

Thomas Thurston had visited this area on Cow Mountain at the Mayacamas campground several times a week for years. That's partly what makes his disappearance so mystifying. The several dozen searchers found no trace of him the next day when they were deployed in the area. Did Thomas ever even make it to the campground on Cow Mountain? Athena has a couple theories on what could have happened to Tom. Ken tells us about a lead he got on two missing children out of Bakersfield CA and explains the idea behind organ snatchers.
